Went to a fashion show last night...

HAD to wear these boots, really wanted to wear the corset,

 and just threw the blazer in the mix.

I felt like I needed something extra so I thought about wearing a scarf,

but couldn't find mine (I just moved). Sooo I just grabbed these leopard tights

and put them around my neck. Worked for me and turned out great!!!

Gotta make it work when you don't always have what you need.

That's just the stylist in me :o)

I have been seeing alot of editorials layely with the whole 50s era male hairstyle and I like it.

I would never date a guy who would actually wear it, but I do like it.
 Loving the hardware on the jacket in the last pic. I'm not sure if guys are allowed to have shouldertude but this jacket is definitely serving it up! Lol

This past Friday I attended the Homecoming Stepshow of my Alma Mater,

The University of Alabama.

I have to congratulate THE Theta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

 on winning FIRST place!

The ladies of TS also incorporated MirrorCheck brooches into their show costume!

 

 I had so much fun reliving my college experience for a couple of days.

It was refreshing to spend time with friends I haven't seen in years!

 It's always fun to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. Recently I haven't been out much, but I found time to hang out with a few friends to celebrate life and friendship over dinner.
Let me be the first to say that in the city where I live, I have absolutely no business whatsoever trying to wave down a taxi, but I felt in the moment so I had to get that last shot. 
Just had the urge to be extra, that's all. :o)


Anywho, I should not be blogging right now, but I had to do this outfit post before it got too old.
